For a final project in my design class we were to create animations with flash (or a like-program) which used a piece of music and incorporated words from the music into the animation. I created an animation to a cover of Brown Eyed Girl using some of the words subtly and sometimes obviously. Its the story of two craft-people who fall in love in thier craft enviroment.

The last project for my senior year English class was to create anything that represented some or all of the themes that we had discussed through the year. My project was this flash, a story of all the motifs and stories, from Gilgamesh to the Joy Luck Club, The Odyssey and The Metamorphosis; incorporating ideas like nature verses culture, feminism and freedom. The overarching story is that is all feeds back, like vines on a plant to the beginning archetypes.

Playing around with frame by frame animation in flash, I created this animation that uses one of the hardest parts of frame by frame, explosions. Frame After Frame is an explosive short set to music that utilizes frame by frame to a large extent as well as some motion tweening.
